1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using MentorOS at mentoros.anonym.co.in, you agree to these Terms. If you are using MentorOS on behalf of a business or institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. What MCQ Studio Does

MentorOS is a PDF processing tool. You upload documents containing exam questions; our system extracts, structures, and returns that content to you in a usable format. We are an intermediary processing service — we do not create, curate, or publish content.

3. Your Content — Ownership and Responsibility

Your content belongs to you. We claim no ownership over any questions, documents, or materials you upload. You retain full ownership of your content at all times.

By uploading content to MentorOS, you represent and warrant that:

You own, or have all necessary rights and permissions to use, the uploaded content.
Your use of the content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
You have the authority to grant us the limited processing rights described in these Terms.

You grant MentorOS a limited, non-exclusive licence solely to process your uploaded content for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account.

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MentorOS and its operators from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) content you upload; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third party's rights. This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account.

5. AI Processing and No Training Guarantee

Your uploaded content is processed by AI models (currently Google Gemini) solely to perform the extraction service you requested. We do not use your content to train any AI model, and we do not share your content with any third party for training purposes. Uploaded PDF files are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after extraction completes. Only the structured question data (text, options, answers) is retained in your account.

6. Credits, Payments, and Refunds

MentorOS operates on a prepaid credits system. Credits are consumed when extractions are successfully completed. Credits are non-refundable once consumed.

If an extraction fails due to a technical error on our side (not due to an unreadable or corrupted PDF), we will restore the consumed credits to your account. Raise such issues within 7 days at legal@anonymapp.in.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use MentorOS to:

Upload content that violates applicable law or third-party rights, knowing that you lack the necessary permissions.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download content from our platform.
Use the service to create content for deceptive, fraudulent, or examination-cheating purposes.
Resell or sublicense the service without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MentorOS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to MentorOS in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your content will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the application at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
